Certified Nursing Technician – Mental Health Service

This program prepares participants to support practitioners and technicians in providing basic patient care and contributing to the implementation of daily community care programs.

Trainees will learn to monitor simple cases and provide social and environmental support through non-medical assistance services, helping to improve the healthcare environment while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in patient care plans alongside social workers, nurses, or psychologists.
  • Provide daily living and emotional support for vulnerable individuals.
  • Help patients participate in therapy, community programs, or rehabilitation.
  • Offer companionship, active listening, and guidance.
  • Connect individuals to available health and social resources.
  • Monitor patient well-being and report changes.

Admission Requirements

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Graduation from a Nursing Institute.
  • Holding a valid professional practice license from the Nursing Syndicate.
  • Completion of specialized training programs is preferred.
  • Completion of the AMJ admission application form.
  • Completion of the online general orientation session at least 24 hours before registration.
  • Purchase and wear the Medical Assistant Program uniform during all classes.
  • Recommended: Basic English skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
